Coffee is a serious business in Ireland today. We have quickly become accustomed to great coffee being available in every corner of the country, and now you can get the same quality in your local hotel, restaurant or gastropub, courtesy of a magical new Irish coffee brand, Brewdoo.

The Brewdoo brand offers the quality, consistency, great taste, and wonderful aroma that specialist cafés have become so famous for. Our great coffee is enhanced by our commitment to sustainability in every aspect of the product and our top-of-the-range equipment, which produces a fantastic cup of coffee quickly – each and every time you need a coffee fix.

But while training, equipment and a commitment to quality are all important components in the Brewdoo story, we would be nothing without our great coffee. So what makes Brewdoo coffee so great?

100% Arabica beans

First and foremost, Brewdoo coffee is made from 100% arabica beans. These come from the Coffea Arabica plant; arabica coffee takes longer to mature than robusta coffee, but it’s worth the wait as arabica coffee tends to be sweeter and more complex in flavour – ideal for creating high-quality coffee blends that will satisfy even the most discerning of palates.

Carefully selected blends

We then sourced and selected the highest-quality arabica beans we could find to create our two espresso blends, both of which were then carefully evaluated by an independent Q Grader to ensure optimal fragrance, flavour, aftertaste, mouthfeel and sweetness.

Both blends are well-balanced medium roasts, designed to appeal to most discerning coffee fans. For fans of a lighter blend, our Brazil & Colombia espresso is packed full of flavour notes including milk chocolate, roasted almond and a hint of citrus. Those who prefer a darker, heavier blend, our Colombia, Brazil & Sumatra espresso contains flavour notes of roasted walnuts, baker’s chocolate and brown sugar. Enough to make your mouth water…

Filter coffee that delivers on flavour

But while espresso blends usually take centre stage in most barista-style cafés, Brewdoo knows that filter coffee still has a major role to play in many restaurants, gastropubs and hotels. Our single origin Colombia filter coffee blend has a mellow acidity with a caramel sweetness, while our Colombia, Brazil, Honduras and Peru filter coffee blend is bright, sweet and smooth with flavour notes of milk chocolate, nuts and berries.

Consistently good barista-style coffee

While we loved our new blends, we wanted to make sure that everyone shared our opinion – and so we put Brewdoo coffee to the test in real-life situations. And we’re delighted to say that our brews lived up to their promise.

In our tests, Brewdoo coffee was described as smooth, creamy, tasty, well balanced and barista-style – exactly what we wanted to hear from our customers.

In fact, our coffee scored so highly in taste and quality, customers welcomed the option to purchase Brewdoo coffee as a takeaway, therefore giving those restaurants, gastropubs and hotels another valuable option for income.

Our aim with Brewdoo coffee is to give the horeca sector a coffee that is as attractive, flavoursome and aromatic as specialist barista-style coffee, but with the consistency and speed needed by busy hotels, restaurants and gastropubs. We believe that this starts with our carefully chosen quality blends – and from our research, it seems that customers agree with us.
