There have been plenty of studies indicating the many health benefits of a good-quality coffee. Here are just five reasons why your Brewdoo coffee is a healthy option for your customers.

Coffee may improve your physical performance

Did you know that many athletes use coffee to help improve performance and increase energy levels? An evidence-based review concluded that drinking a cup of coffee before exercise improved endurance and reduced perceived exertion when compared with a control group. Other reviews came to the same conclusion, although it should be noted that caffeine had different effects on different people.

Coffee may help weight management

Some research has indicated that coffee could have an effect on fat storage and support gut health – which could benefit weight management. A review of 12 epidemiologic studies concluded that drinking coffee could be associated with lower body fat, especially in men. And, a further study found that people who drank one to two cups of coffee per day were 17% more likely to meet recommended physical activity levels than those who drank less than one cup per day – and of course, increased physical activity is associated with better weight management.

Coffee could support brain health

A worry for many people as they get older is to protect against neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. But according to a review of 13 studies on the effect of coffee on Parkinson’s disease, people who consumed caffeine regularly had a significantly lower risk of developing Parkinson’s disease. Plus, several other studies have indicated that drinking moderate amounts of coffee can lower your risk of developing dementia.

Coffee could even lengthen your life

Not surprisingly, when you look at the indicated health benefits of coffee, as described above, coffee could have an effect on longevity – after all, good weight management and increased physical activity usually has a positive effect on your life expectancy and quality of life. But there’s more – one review of 40 studies concluded that drinking two to four cups of coffee daily was associated with a lower risk of death – and this is regardless of factors like age, weight status, and alcohol consumption.

Coffee may protect against heart disease

Some studies have shown that regular coffee consumption could be associated with a lower risk of heart disease. For instance,  a meta-analysis of 21 studies looking at the links between coffee consumption and death from chronic diseases found a link between moderate coffee consumption and a 21% lower risk of cardiovascular disease deaths compared with those who don’t drink coffee at all.
